September is coming up and in celebration of our 1 year anniversary in June (we are a little late in celebration), we are putting some goodies in every box that goes out in September! We are so proud of all our featured artists…if you want a taste of amazing Bay Area art, be sure to subscribe. Any collector would be smart to pick up a full sized piece from any of our talented featured artists. Check out our online shop or email us if you like work from a particular artist. September boxes will be shipped on September 14th and pick ups will be available at the gallery beginning the weekend of September 12th. Until then, we will upload as many new pieces as we can for September. Enjoy!

The fantabulous 7×7 magazine has voted Art in a Box the Best Art-Collector’s Resource in their Best of San Francisco 2010!
The best thing to happen to a box since Justin Timberlake and Andy Samberg, the Art in a Box project by Matt and Lena Reynoso of the Compound Gallery pairs art collectors with works by such Bay Area artists as Lisa Solomon, Tallulah Terryll and Ben Belknap. For a mere $50 a month, subscribers receive a surprise piece by a participating artist.

It is hard to believe that June boxes are coming up. We just moved the gallery into a bigger and better building and we are finally starting to settle in…..which means…more time to document the wonderful work that is coming in! Our artists are creating some magnificent works just for subscribers. Don’t forget that you can choose to get work every month, every other month, skip a month, whatever you choose.

April Art is Here
April is here and Art in a Box subscribers are in for a treat! We have been very busy moving the gallery and studios to a new building in Oakland and we are starting to settle in. If you are in the Bay Area, please stop in for our grand re-opening on April 17th from 6-9pm. You can also pick up your Box at the opening!
