Pick of the month!

This month, YaChin Bonny You captivated us with her witty sense of humor and fun sense of color.  This mixed media piece is mounted on canvas and incorporates her original drawing, pen and ink, paper, and acrylic paint. Her piece is titled “Is This Man Beautiful?” which playfully addresses the notion of beauty, gender, and judgement.  The black and white drawing commands the piece as the bursts of turquoise, orange, and silver suggest a spotlight for our beauty to take the stage.
